An artist will never run out of places in the city to paint en plein air and share Christ with curious onlookers, even when they return to the same site numerous times.
I’ve probably painted Pasadena City Hall a dozen times and have always had someone come check me out. There have been people who have prayed and given their lives to Jesus at the foot of this beautiful, historic building.
However, there are other times when I’ve only had an opportunity to mention the name of Jesus to someone passing by. That was the case this day when a city worker sweeping the sidewalk paused to see what I was doing. I asked her if she liked to paint. She said that she loved to sketch. I told her that Jesus would help her develop her talent. She smiled and returned to her work.
Have you ever painted the same scene more than once?
